the LS kit also has the D shaped tubes, so you could only mount the LEDs perpendicular to whatever you mounted them to (probably the frame, so they were pointing straight down)
I didn't look at the inferno kit too closely, but I would imagine they're just tubes and whoever installed them decided to aim them outward from the car, which would be a good reason why there is little/no light under the car

Those pics were taken with a crappy 5 or 6 year old 4.0mp camera LOL. But my glow was definitely super bright and under the car. not just out the sides ? It's not really a matter of how old or how good the camera is. Depending on what the exposure is set at you'll get different light intensity. Most of those pictures are taken by amateurs and are shot while it's still light out (you can see the car very clearly, not just an outline) or use the flash which washes out the color too. Really all I'm saying is that I wouldn't judge the UB kits just off of those pictures.

I just don't wanna waste any more money than I have to. If I have to replace my whole kit then I want it to be as good or better than what I had. Right now I'm tryin to find just the parts I need but no luck so far. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYT-QhpomZI it was pretty darn bright all around IMO. There was someone in my city with a kit similar to mine but I could tell it wasn't the LS cuz it looked pretty bad...not sure what it was though. (It was a 08 Lancer too haha)

That video doesn't make the kit look any better than other LED kits I've seen. Then you have this video that makes it look really bad: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4f33xLiTEXs&NR=1My only thing against the LS kit is that it seems very glitchy. IIRC a few other members had problems with the LS kit when it first came out? Maybe they've fixed things now.

Maybe they've fixed things now. I doubt it, but they'll tell you they have. I also suspect that lots of these pics that you see have been photochopped

My LS Kit broke twice before but that was an install error both times (two different guys did it and they both forgot to hook up a wire, thats why it shorted out). There have been issues with the tubes not showing the right colors (ie the picture I posted above with the yellow and aqua was supposed to be just yellow lol) But when I got the 2nd replacement kit everything worked perfect till it shorted out again. Right now SG doesn't have ANYTHING LS related. Everything is on back order from China and supposed to be in the end of the month. I just wanna say none of my pics have been photoshopped in anyway. Here's just a crappy pic I took, still seems brighter to me ?

I never said yours was, so please don't think I did.
One thing to think about, we hear constant complaints about the LS and MC kits, but I've heard a lot of good about the inferno kits. I've got some Oz lights in the garage and I'm extremely impressed with them.
and remember, a big part of how the lights look is the install.

I wonder if there's a better video someplace where the tubes aren't shining out to the sides like that... ??
I dunno it just looks weird to me but who knows! If it can look like my kit Id buy it cuz its def. cheaper!

Ohhh okay. That doesn't look too bad. The snow pics look really fake for some reason haha.
His truck would be too high to completely glow underneath so that said... I may have to look into one of these kits.

much more reliable that SG customer service also. they pretty much have a no questions asked customer service policy so you shouldnt have any problems if something breaks

Yah lancer that was my concern also when considering an Inferno. Because I've been skeptical about LED's compared to my GS. But since I have my tc now, it sits a lot lower than it did on my truck, and on my car my GS shines nicely. I think it will be brighter, but it won't go out and under the car as much as a GS would. But at this point, I'd settle lol. Just ordered my V2 kit Figure I'll wait on my exhaust till it gets a tad bit warmer haha.

Be sure to post pics when you get it on! I'm gonna wait another month and see if SG gets back to me or not haha then I'll go with something else.

dont hold your breath sweetie lol
Morbid i hear the V2 is WELL worth the money. I had the V2 wheel well kit and bought 4 more tubes and had wheel glow and interior glow all synched it was very sweet i feel you should do the same if you have no interior glow and/or wheel glow. The V2 is nearly indestructible also and you can place those bright a$$ 6" V2 tubes anywhere in the wheel well and it will give off a nice glow.

Is the V2 kit the one that's more expensive than the LightStrike kit ??
