so yeah, my phone is a POS, sometimes I call people and they tell me it sounds like I have a speech impediment. It's bad enough that they can't even understand me.
I want a phone for under $150 that isn't a complete pile (if possible) I would like a slider phone, but flip is cool too. just something that isn't junk.
any suggestions?

hmmm what you can do i know if you have att you can call them and tell them your phone isnt working right and they can hook you up with a decent phone
if you look on thier website you can tell them what you would want
and i can say this now calling them is so much better then going to the store your phone would be there the next day
but i have that quickfire its a touchscreen slider i love it and many of my friends have the other touch screen phones and love it
just go to whatever your provider is website and look up the reviews

if you are eligible for upgrade, let me know. I have a website where if I refer you, you get $25.00 off and I get $25.00 also.
I was able to get my Samsung Eternity for free, so let me know.

I also have a quickfire and love it but they are $300 without an upgrade. For under $150, idk how much luck you will find. You can try looking at refurbs or like they said, try and get a deal from ur carrier.

I really like mine. Does everything I need and its a smaller size so its easy to carry around all the time.

No matter what phone you get, you are still going to sound goofy. Only with a good phone, they will know that it is not the phone.

I want a new phone but sadly I can't upgrade til Sept. I could get the new blackberry storm for $199 right now but if I wait til Sept I can get it for $99 and I'm sure there is gonna be a WAY cooler phone out by then. I wish verizon had iPhones. They have some sweet nursing apps.

I had the 2nd gen Chocolate and ended up getting the enV2. The Chocolate is hard to slide open with one hand if your hands are dry (like they always are in winter, at least for me).
I'm not sure about touchscreens. Sometimes it's really nice to have the pysical buttons you can finger to tell where you're at on the keypad. (yes, I meant for that to sound dirty)
