waz up people?!?!
Sorry I deleted your thread in the SG forum directing people here...had to be done for when I contacted SG. they NEVER look at the forum and when I called them I was going to have them goto the forum and didn't want any links to another board there.
as an update...you can rename this as permanent SG forum cause SG ain't gonna be fixin the forum anytime soon!!
SG is DEAD... and they aren't going to rebound in the near future. They have no desire to fix the board and to be honest never wanted the board anyway...John saw the board for what it is and he kept it up and running, which is why he brought me in. Once he left the remaining people at SG have no clue and chose to not care about it or customer service for that matter.
Good luck to you all here.... I tried my hardest to restore our community but got absolutely nowhere.
I will put your thread in SG back up tonight..to hell with what they think at sg if they ever do see it....they still haven't replied to my thread bashing them...so I guess they won't mind your link...lol.
Is Nick a dad yet?

they are going cheap and not replacing John, the internet sales and marketing manager,... the people thy have are overworked as it is and can't/won't be burdened with added work...like the board. They aren't diks...just don't care enough about teh board to think it's a good marketing venue, which they will caome to realize is a HUGE mistake sooner rather than later.

Agreed on no internet sales = drastic reduction in sales
I've given up on SG anyway. I've had so many problems with my MC kit and every time I get it back, something else is wrong with it. One of the guys on my audio team has had a PlasmaGlow kit on his truck for over a year without any problems, I haven't seen my kit work right for more than a month, even with all the BS "solutions" I've gotten.
The Lightstrike kit seems to be just as bad, though I don't have any personal experience with it.
I've personally gone to the FlowLighting kits
btw...what did you do to your finger again? I remember someone asking about it, but I don't remember why.

I cut it off... painful as anything I have ever experienced...and thats alot! lol
lightstrike was a disaster, no way around it. have never heard of issues with the MC LED kits though.. thats a first.
only issues with the MC kit is caused from faulty controllers where the switched wire gets constant 12v inputs. besides that though I haven't heard of prlonged issues with the kit, and I did most of the tech problem solving for them.

That's what they told me the problem was, but funny thing is, after my first kit I fried, I had the switched wire....switched, and it never got power unless I had my kit on. I'm now on kit number 3, and even with 4 brand new replacement tubes and a brand new controller, straight out of the SG packaging (not factory sealed, just replacement tubes) the back tube doesn't work I just said ufk it...I know what I'm doing when it comes to this stuff, and I "fixed" what they said I was doing "wrong"

I was using a power planer set at 9/64" and my hand got sucked in...so my finger tip got shaved down about 1" in 9/64" increments... seemed like it took forever and was amazingly painful. being that the finger was cutoff in such small sections there was nothing they could do to reattach so I have a stump now.

Yikes @ the finger! That's just crazy getting fed into the planer. :X At the trailer manufacturer where my dad (and I for a short time) worked one of the guys got his hand stuck in a set of big rollers and the whole lower part of his arm was taken in before the machine was shut down. Glad you found your way over.

I mean that I had a switch in my console attached to the red wire on the controller, and I only turned it on when I turned the kit on, when the kit was off, so was the switch really...REALLY sucks to hear about your finger, I seriously couldn't even imagine that happening to me.....ouch
