unless you dont have full coverage, i would swerve to hit a deer in my camaro, but its a high perfomance race car that handles like its on rails...the durango i would swerve as well, ive seen whips that have hit deers, its f***in' gross...just because you dont have the quick cat like reflexed to swerve around an animal doesnt make people who do retarded...maybe if you cannot control your vehicle enough that you have to bulldoze thru animals/people/structural buildings you should not be the one driving on the road! bitchez!

yea because swerving and possibly injuring youself or someone else is a really good idea.
I hit a deer back in sept. at 60mph. Didn't swerve didn't move. Took out my hood, fender, headlight.
Car is fixable

if you had any driving skill, you coulda avoided the deer and saved the money you spent on fixing your car...but i mean, your a woman so you really shouldnt even be driving anyways, asking you to avoid hitting a 200 pound creature i guess is alittle too much to ask

Actually, the more serious accidents are caused by the swerving to avoid animals... Driving skill has nothing to do with it... Talk to anyone in emergency services, and I guarantee that they will say that it's better to stay straight and brake then swerve around... And deer/animal claims are covered under comp, you don't need full covereage... It doesn't matter what type of vehicle you drive, it's still SAFER not to swerve. It doesn't matter if I'm driving my Camaro, Avalanche, one of my Ambulances, or one of my Rescue Trucks, I'm always going to stay straight and brake... I don't think trying to swerve in one of my EV's would result in a good ending... Sure, the animal may be saved, but my EV would be on it's side... Besides, what's your obsession/affection with seer anyway...? just a little strange sounding how you got so defensive about people hitting deer... By the way, how did this go from my new ink to hitting deer...? LoL

deer, bear, little kid, hamster...doesnt matter, im just saying, learn how to drive and pay attention to your surroundings... i understand people not being as awesome at driving as myself, so smash into your wild life, its cool i get it... also ill have to check, im not saying your wrong, but i do not think that if you just have liability insurance that if you hit a deer your covered...

I think that depends on your insurance company, my last one didn't have it, at least they wouldn't pay when my mom hit a deer, but I'm with Geico now, and it's my understanding that Comp takes care of that a little bit

My insurance doesn't cover a deer hit unless you have full coverage! I tried and they wont pay for it, so it sits the way it sits...LOL I haven't put any money into it. I just so happened to have an extra headlight laying around
