Ok, so I'm just now saving up for an UnderGlow Kit or 2.
The only problem was I was wondering what the best way to protect these bars and the wiring from rain, rocks, and mud (YES i mean these specifically)
I was thinking I would put an extra glass casing around each bar although, I'm thinking this would compromise the lighting effect . Does anybody know, and have suggestions or other more effective opinions and how to keep the light as bright and most protected as possible

Most kits are just fine the way they are. Unless you buy a really cheap kit then you will be fine. SG makes all of theirs out of lexan and lexan takes a bit to break. Plus on any kit you buy almost from a reputable dealer you will have warranty

The warranty doesn't cover broken tubes, so keep that in mind, but there's not much you'll be able to do to add extra strength to them. You could silicone the tube ends, MAKE SURE ALL YOUR CONNECTIONS ARE SEALED, that's the big one.
I had my multicolor kit under my car for a year and a half, I drove like a bat out of hell on country roads back and forth to school and still never broke a tube...they're pretty durable.

If you're wanting a 7 color kit, let me know, I've got some laying around that I'm not using anymore

eoither get those clear lexan toobz that go over flouresent lights or buy some clear vinyl toobing and slip it over the toobz.
vinyl is probably better so rocks bouce off.
