Ok well i was going to do a retrofit for my malibu and i never got around to it before it got totaled. I had the headlights sitting around and finally i did it. I went to the junk yard and found headlights with projectors for $60 bucks and then the work began.
Now some more beam shots. You can see how clean the beam is if you look against the wall or at the rear bumper. Keep in mind this is only ONE bulb on. I disconnected the other bulb so it didnt make anything look brighter than it really was. You will never get full potential out of HID's unless they have some projectors and these projectors seem pretty dangzor good.
Primer has been applied and since the pics have been wet sanded with 600 grit and now letting it dry before i go apply the first coat of black paint. I will more than likely be applying 3 coats of black and then 2 or 3 of clear.
just about finished!!! Just need to put the lens back on the headlight housing.

Why only one headlight pictured? My dremel took a shiz on me and it is getting repaired! I havent even started the 2nd headlight yet but it will be identical.
