I would have mounted it more towards the middle of the windshield.

or you could have brought it way down...that high up is bound to cause problems

I'd be more concerned about the glare comming fron it then anything else...

ehh not as bright as you might think from the picture i was intending on putting in the center dash, put found no room and the TRUE reason for putting it where it resides is because if the tech is in the middle of the windshield its a easy target for thieves. being hidden somewhat in the corner hides it from view
