I think everyone knows the basics of my car. anyway, it hasnt seen the street since oct. 6, 2007, and i think it has only even been outta the garage once since then, when i pushed it out to hose down the engine bay. biggest problem was having the money and time to finish it like i wanted it done. i have half assed parts of it too many times saying i would do them right later, and later never came. first on the list, i had to put a new turbo on it. the seals were gone in it and it was blowing oil out the exhaust, so i ordered a turbonetics t3/t4 super 60 trim with stage 2 turbine and exhaust wheels. i figured since i had to take the head off to o a turbo on this car, i may as well put an egt gauge on it and put my bigger injectors on, which meant i also had to order a stage 5 calibration for the computer and run alcohol injection, among other things. while it was apart i decided to gut all the aftermarket wiring and do everything over, also i bought a full black interior for the car. i also moved the battery to the back to give me more room in the engine bay. i am somewhere in the process of putting it all back together. i also need suggestions on what to do for a sub box, amp rack, etc., to go behind the front seats, since the back seats are gone i have a ton of space that needs used up. i will post better pics of that area later. anyway, here are some pics of it so far:
turbo installed on head
i had to grind away part of the starter so the turbo would clear it. i actually had to grind more than this off, but i never took a pic of it then
gutted
new wiring ran, with provisions for future wiring. aside from on the one piece behind where the center console should be, the brown you see is not rust
black interior. the battery box has since been mounted. and there is a lotta other random shiz in the back that has just accumulated there over the time. everything from the front seats back is what i still have to figure out a design for, then i can put it all together and be done finally.
questions, comments, suggetions, words of encouragement?
