Rather then muck up the board with 2 threads I'm going to post both thoughts in one.

I went to an auction today. They had 9 light bars off of old cop cars. One was even BRAND NEW in the box! I wanted at least 2 to hang on my garage wall and hook up so during parties we can have them on.

Well two guys got into a bidding war! $475 a piece! HOLY SHIZ! The guy who won was like I'll take them all. He spent $4200 on light bars...yikes!


Now second thought!

Since nursing clinicals have like a 2 year waitlist and I can't afford to sit around and do nothing because student loans kick in 6 months after I quit going to classes I figure I need something to do. So I looked into it today and I believe I am going to sign up for EMT classes. They run June 1 through Aug 31st. It's Thurs-Sat. Thur & Fri its from 6-10pm and Saturdays from 8-5 at the hospital right in my town!

I'd be taking 4 classes at once! And working hands on! I just need to get my stuff together and figure out how to pay for it and I'm golden!

$475 for a full-size lightbar isn't bad depending on what it is...

The lightbar that I currently have in my basement (off my Tahoe) is $1,500 brand new.

somebody here stole one of the new led ones off one of the town cop cars. apparently they just clip on and dont have any locks or shiz. No way they could mount it without bein caught so i bet they gonna unsolder the thousands of red/.blue leds in there or sell it on ebay after they dump it in the deep waters/

I got accepted into EMT school as of yesterday After I get done with that in Aug. I can go on to paramedic school in Jan. Only problem there is it's $4500!!!!!!!!!!!!

But then I can transition from EMT to RN and have an RN and Paramedics licesense and ROLL in the big money!
