Figured some of you may have modified how your car breathes and we all want to see pics! Ive got the stock airbox, but I picked up an HKS cat-back exhaust a few years ago. And here is a pic installed on the car It drones a little bit around 3k rpms, but other than that its great. My favorite mod so far Post pics of what you've got!!!!

Hopefully I will have mine on my car in the next couple of weeks. I'll be putting a TRD axle back on mine. I don't like the look of some of the big mufflers right on the tips on tC's so the TRD sticks with how the stock is shaped and everything. It also sounds a lot better than most for my car I think.
I was checking prices just last night and I think the cheapest I can get it online with shipping fees comes out to around $460, and I can just get it from my dealer and have them install it for like $520. So I'll probably just do that so I'll have the full warranty.

did you earn any hp from this, seeing that basically your engine can breath out better

Everyone advertises you get more HP and technically you do, but usually it's not enough of a notice really unless you change your headers, intake, and your exhaust. Also changing your whole pipe also helps, and an intake manifold.

As far as hp gains go, usually there isn't a whole lot to be had just adding an exhaust (turbo cars generally see a greater benefit). After installing my HKS it seemed that my S2K pulled a little harder in the upper rpm range, but that could be a placebo effect. Either way i love the way it sounds.

I had the exhaust installed at a shop near my workplace. Dropped off in the morn and picked it up on my lunchbreak. Price was very reasonable too. I still have the OEM peices just in case.

i hate having car shops do it for me because people are always messing with your stuff Yeah it's nice to do what you can on your own. I had my exhaust put on by a shop too. I didn't have a torch to cut the old exhaust off and it needed to be modified slightly. I went from a rusted out POS exhaust with less than a 2" diameter to a 3" stainless steel mandrel bent cat-back exhaust. Sometime I need to pick up the turbo-cat pipe. Maybe even the cat delete pipe.

why is there jap writing on that box? is the muffler piping metric sized or will it fit clamps bought in north america? my flowmaster would not fit my friends prius when we tried. the shop told me that the prius has millimetric pipe and the us uses fractomerican sized pipe. is this true? am is sober?

My 91 Camaro RS runs a single 3" Mandrel bent aluminized through an empty cat to a Stainless Steel Flowmaster Delta Flow 40 series and then exits just behind both rear tires.
My 88 Camaro SC has Full dual 2 3/4 Mandrel bent aluminized going through two nameless "turbo" mufflers, and out right in front of the rear tires.
My 82 Z28 has Dual 3" with cut out and crossover passing through Flowmaster Delta flow 40 series and exiting directly out the rear.
The 91 has the standard, nearly anemic 5.0L V8 with T-5 Manual. The cat spit itself out along highways and such over a period of a few months, I didn't do that.
The 88 has a pre 85 crate 350 with a cam upgrade (Don't know what cam though) fed off a Quadrajet.
The 82 has a 1992 350 being rebuilt .30 over for living in higher RPMs. Still picking parts and ordering, so for the moment I popped in a bathroom sink. I can really dump the gas in it.
